Our first stop on our trip to Oregon was actually in the state of Washington. Just across the Hood River from Portland is Vancouver, WA, and this is historic Fort Vancouver, an old bastion of the northwest logging and fur trade. This is from up inside a tower, looking inside t he tall wood-logged walls.
