Joe is just a happy, friendly person. He seemed to be smiling all night, and his smile always looks genuine. When I walked up for this picture, I said, "Hey, you're Joe Thornton!" And he laughed and said "Or at least, someone who looks like him." And I said, "I was actually thinking about that old commercial, from your time in Boston." And he said, "Oh yeah, the sporting goods store!" Awesome. Awesome to the max. Also, look how tall he is! The tallest Shark.
